Dunsmore House is a Grade II listed country house dating back to the 18 th century. Built in 1881 for the Birmingham industrialist Sir Philip Albert Muntz, Dunsmore House is a fine example of the Tudor Gothic revivalist genre with its Ashlar dressed stone façade, carved details and mullioned and transomed windows. The principle rooms are of generous proportions and the original internal woodwork and detail is of the highest standard.

The property has been painstakingly restored with great care to preserve it’s original character. The house retains the dignity and atmosphere of the past, uniting traditional style with contemporary amenities. The house is approached through grand electronic entrance gates leading to a long sweeping tree-lined driveway. Enter through the grand portico into a stunning hallway with sweeping oak staircase. Prepare to be taken aback by the prefect combination of grandeur and comfort, from the elegant Ballroom with enormous fireplace, panelled ceiling and oak carved cornicing to the luxurious Piano room with comfortable seating and grand piano, to the Dining hall with it’s enormous dining table seating up to 30 people.

This lovely home exudes charm and elegance but is never overpowering. Please enjoy the gallery of this beautiful house.
